Why HR?

During my travels in Australia, I worked in Melbourne where I developed and audited policies and procedures for ISO (International Standards Organisation) approval.  I enjoyed it and had an eye for it.  I loved the intricacies of policies which protect the business and the employee.

I wanted to do more of it.  So I became a certified HR advisor in addition to my experience so that I could help farm businesses write policies to protect themselves and others.  I extended this into personnel management and recruitment assistance; I wanted to help them employ the best people, in the best way; and keep hold of the best people.

What can HR help you do?

• Manage employee documentation

• help draw up contracts and agreements

• Write and review policies

• Create, implement and record training for new employees

• Deal with employee disputes, disciplinaries and dismissals
